Kirk Edwards is photographer who graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Business. He took a bold leap into the world of photography in Gotham, starting as an assistant to commercial adventure photographer Jorg Badura. Quickly mastering the craft, he moved on to work with renowned fashion photographer Steven Klein, where he developed a keen understanding of lighting and traditional large-format cameras.

His journey continued alongside Mark Seliger, blending his lighting expertise with Seliger's unique approach to portraiture. After establishing his own practice, Kirk earned recognition as one of American Photo's 10 Best Young Photographers.

Today, he shoots international fashion and commercial work while pursuing personal projects that focus on environmental portraiture. His distinctive style combines his fashion background with a deep respect for his subjects, allowing him to highlight both the beauty of their surroundings and the authenticity of their emotions.
